Late submissions will not be accepted, including those affected by different time zones or technical issues.

2) Abstract Format (Word Limit / Structure)

Language

English only

Length

Abstract body up to 300 words

Title line, author names, affiliations, and keywords are excluded from the word count.

Structured headings (required)

Background / Methods / Results / Conclusions

Abstracts without Results (e.g., “results will be presented”) may be rejected.

5)After Submission (Receipt / Revisions)

●The Secretariat will send an acknowledgement email and issue an Abstract ID within one week after receipt.

If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 7 days, please contact the Secretariat.

●Revisions are allowed before the deadline: resend with subject ITMA27 Abstract Revision – [Abstract ID] and state “Revised version” with the revision date in the email body.

Review, Decision, and Presentation Format

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

Acceptance/rejection and Oral/Poster assignment are at the discretion of the congress.

●Presentation preference may be indicated; however, the final assignment will be determined by the congress.

7)Ethics, COI, and Rights (Key Points)

Ethics & privacy

Authors are responsible for ethics approval/informed consent where applicable and for anonymizing any personal/patient-identifying information. Do not include identifiers in the abstract.

COI

For accepted presentations (Oral/Poster), a COI disclosure slide is mandatory and must be the first slide.

Rights

Copyright remains with the author(s). The organizers receive a non-exclusive license to reproduce and distribute abstracts in congress abstract materials for registered participants only. Abstract materials will not be publicly available in principle.
